Joseph DiConcetto, MD, has joined Specialty Physician Associates in Bethlehem, PA. Dr. DiConcetto earned his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital in Philadelphia in 1978, following undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He began his medical training as a Pre-Med major at Pennsylvania State University.
He completed a rotating internship at Presbyterian University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. In 1983, he finished a fellowship in Asthma and Immunology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Further expanding his expertise, Dr. DiConcetto earned a certification in Medical Acupuncture from New York Medical College in 1999.
Dr. DiConcetto specializes in diagnosing and treating allergies, asthma, and immunologic conditions, and is dual board-certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology. He is an active member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, American College of Physicians, American Academy of Allergy & Immunology, and the Pennsylvania Allergy Association.
